About the Role

The position of a Controller is responsible for all finance matters in a managerial capacity with special emphasis on cost control.

Your Responsibilities

  • •    Prepare data for revenue and cost of sales recognition.
    •    Develop and present business plans for corporate/group office.
    •    Translate corporate business plan into MSSC Seating Systems accounting system.
    •    Monitor compliance with business plan, company procedure and policies as well as other company objectives.
    •    Calculate and monitor standard rates for quoting purposes.
    •    Supervise application for capital expenditures, including financial justification.
    •    Prepare and review all financial statements.
    •    Analyze financial data as required.
    •    Prepare reports for MSSC Seating Systems and corporate offices, with special emphasis on attention directing.
    •    Comply with taxation requirements.
    •    Manage cash and Accounts Receivable collection.
    •    Prepare all correspondence relating to the above.
    •    Complete performance appraisals for department.
    •    Foreign currency management.
    •    Develop procedures.
    •    Taking appropriate corrective action when substandard performance is observed.
    •    Perform other reasonable duties as assigned or required.

Who we are looking for

Your preferred qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•    University Degree with specialization in Accounting.
•    10 - 15 years experience in Finance, with emphasis on job costing.
•    Professional Accounting designation and membership in good standing in Professional Accounting Association.
•    Advanced knowledge of microcomputer systems with special emphasis on AccPac, Visual Manufacturing System, Lotus/Excel and word-processing.
•    Excellent communication skills (oral, written, graphs).
