Role Summary

The People Development & Training (PD&T) Specialist is responsible for supporting global people development and training initiatives, programs, and processes. This position will work closely with HR and business leaders to identify learning needs for their teams and deliver employee learning and development solutions enhancing employee and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify individual and organizational development needs.
  • Create and implement learning strategies, objectives, and learning impact metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize utilization and maintenance of training processes, tools, and company learning management systems.
  • Evaluate course effectiveness, follow up with participants and leaders, and modify course content or vendor necessary.
  • Work with internal and external trainers to deliver training solutions.
  • Manage relationships and contracts with training vendors.
  • Coordinate training program participation and delivery to ensure learning objectives are met.
  • Establish and maintain training policies and procedures supporting the development of team members in compliance with company standards.
  • Track training costs and works with HR leadership to develop an annual training budget.
  • Maintain training systems including training records and training calendar.
  • Collect, report, and analyze training metrics (including training cost, training hours, and budget).

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing learning and development solutions to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate).

Required Experience: 

  • 5 + years of training and development experience preferred, 2+ years required.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management systems (Workday and/or SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Advanced reporting experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Full time – In office
  • Travel – 10% or less (within NA)
