Role Summary
- Clerical responsibility of the Employee Opinion Survey process.
- Assists with clerical duties and translations on H.R. Programs: Employee Disaster Relief Fund, Magna Family Scholarship Program, Magna Service Award Program.
- Translates documents, presentations, and employee material, as needed for the department.
- Maintains employee communication material inventory in stock for the Mexican Divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Types all EOS comments for all the Mexican EOSs (26,000+ employees). Translates the key comments. Shreds all old EOSs.
- Magna Employee Disaster Relief Fund – Translates the application and information presented by employees.
- Magna Family Scholarship Program. - Translates the information that is needed, makes copies of original documentation submitted by students, creates acceptance/rejection letters, ships back original documents to students.
- Magna Service Award Program – Translates employee communication material.
- Translates documents, presentations, etc. as needed from English to Spanish or Spanish to English.
- Reviews inventory stock of employee communication material, to assure it is updated and sufficient inventory available.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Completion of community college diploma/certificate. (a plus not required).
- Completion of High School or equivalent.
- Customer Service & Delivery.
- Continuous Improvement Indicators.
- Computer experience in MS Office for at least 3 years.
- Translator experience of at least 3 years.
- Work-related experience at least 3 years
Additional Information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong administrative skills with a minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Must be fluent in both Spanish and English both written and oral.
- Strong computer skills using Micro Soft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multi-task and respond to changing needs in a busy environment.
