Role Summary

Wide range of tasks (organizational, technical and managerial issues) at the Customer facilities (Magna plants in Europe) in accordance with Magna expectations and its Customers.
Quality team member with reporting line to Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance of main functions by Customer Representative acc. to Customer requirements and provide feedback, incl.:
    • Identification of the reasons for suspected or defected products;
    • Making decisions on repair / return / disposal of non-conforming products;
    • Whenever possible, repair of an inappropriate product;
    • Inspection of the suspected or affected batches of products at the Customer facilities
  • Representation and protection of company interests at the Customer plants:
    • Providing feedback to the Magna, prompt reporting of all opened issues at the Customer plants during the launch process and in serial production;
    • Monitoring the execution of Customer processes for unpacking, moving, installing in order to prevent damage of the supplied products;
    • Report to the management of the identified nonconformance’s and deviations at the Customer facilities in a timely manner
  • Non-conformance management and Claim activity
    • Participate in a claims activity regarding Customer complaints and Warranty acc. to Problem solving procedure (8D) in cross-function team as Customer Representative;
    • Lead in a root causes investigation of nonconformance which occurs out of Magna plant;
    • Collect and analysis of statistical data regarding product quality at the process steps after Magna production process;
    • Keep records and provide the necessary information for analysis and reporting on quality costs related to External failures 
Key Qualifications/Requirements

Education and Experience

  • VI education degree level, Diploma in Engineering;
  • Experience in the automotive industry more than 3 years, preferably in Quality department of international companies


  • Confident knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
  • Advanced experience in Problem solving (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa)
  • Knowledge and experience with Formel Q
  • Fluency in English (must be able to communicate fluently in written and spoken)
  • Other foreign language skills (German, Czech) are an advantage
  • PC advanced user. Special strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
