Role Summary

The primary accountability of the Quality and Operations Systems Analyst is to ensure that Magna’s Quality and Operational performance monitoring systems are current and accurate. The incumbent will be expected to work alongside Magna’s various manufacturing locations to provide support and direction to ensure data integrity and accuracy and will perform analysis to provide insight and support to senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

•    Responsible for updating and maintaining internal Quality & Operations websites
•    Daily monitoring of customer portals
•    Generating monthly global summaries on quality and operational performance
•    Weekly and Monthly maintenance of global dashboards via Power BI
•    Daily Support and administration of Magna bullet points/read across system
•    Support manufacturing sites by confirming data integrity and managing Magna Magnet system
•    Identify opportunities for enhancement/improvement on current programs and processes
•    Responsible for managing Operational and Quality programs, including reporting on any actions, trends and opportunities as well as communicating regularly with Managers and senior leaders to address any concerns 
•    Support additional Operations/Quality projects and programs as required 
•    Support responsibilities for departmental VP and Director

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Knowledge and Education
•    Completion of post-secondary education in an operations or IT-related discipline
•    Advanced knowledge of data management/analysis tools including Excel and Power BI

Work Experience
•    Minimum 3 years related working experience
•    Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Quality principles is an asset
•    Program management experience is an asset
•    Ability to speak multiple languages (German/Spanish/Mandarin) is an asset

Work Environment
•    Standard office environment
•    Travel not typically required
