About the Role
The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting Systems will be responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Magna’s various global financial reporting systems, focusing on OneStream, but also including LeaseAccelerator and Kepion. Reporting to the Controller, this role will work closely with the Finance team to support accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting Systems will oversee a team including a OneStream Architect, Finance System Analysts, and support desk personnel, to provide technical support and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize financial reporting systems to align with requirements and business needs.
- Manage data integrity, security, and compliance within the systems.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other departments to address system issues and to support initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team, providing training and support to end-users.
- Coordinate updates of metadata and security elements across systems.
- Oversee the global financial systems user support portal and provide support to auditors.
Who we are looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting systems, focusing on OneStream or similar software.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. CPA designation highly desired.
- Demonstrated success in team management and project delivery.
- Strong ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proficient in project management and prioritization, driving projects to completion.
