 KAMTEK is a premier Tier 1, automotive manufacturing supplier that specializes in Class “A” Stamping, Assembly and High Pressure Die Casting that produces Body-side and Door Openings, Roofs, Floor Pans, Wheelhouses, Large Welded Assemblies, Doors, Fenders, Hoods, Lift-gates, Aluminum Shock Towers, and Aluminum Rear Rails. Role Summary

Applies industry knowledge and experience to manage projects. Utilizes planning, resource, and task management skills in directing internal and external teams to successful implementation of projects. Can delegate and manage multiple projects at any given time. Responsible for lab work for the E-coat and Wax, including operating the E-coat line and Wax lines to an optimum level for producing quality products in accordance with Kamtek policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Knowledge of pre-shift safety inspections,
  2. Documentation of lot traceability forms (Tagging Procedure, Production Sheets),
  3. Performing first and last offs,
  4. Fulfill production requirements,
  5. Quality of product produced,
  6. Load and unload parts or assemblies in their respective containers,
  7. Quality Visual inspection and documentation cards (Control Cards, and Defect Monitoring Sheets, etc.),
  8. Team Player
  9. TS16949 awareness and adherence
  10. ISO14001 awareness and adherence
  11. Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherence

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Ability to work a three-shift rotation or other shifts, as required by business needs,
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision,
  • Must possess initiative and willing to learn and adapt to changes and new,
  • Ensure that your department is clean, tidy, always organized and a safe workplace,
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality,
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment,
  • Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs

Additional Information

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or GED required,

Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Technology

TECHNICAL TRAINING:  Understanding of chemistry to perform essential functions of the position, AutoCAD Preferred

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

 

  • WHAT TYPES?  Minimum five (5) years industrial experience required with at least three (3) years in a tier one electro coat paint line,

 

  • HOW MUCH?  5 years
