Purpose of Position/Responsibilities and Authority

Inventory Coordinator is responsible to maintain inventory variance on 97%. Comply with COSMA Cycle Count Guidelines. Develop/Create/Improve SWI related with Inventory Control trass,. Responsible train production team members on Production Management. Implement controls to improve accuracy on inventory and Audi9t controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY:

RespOnsible to report production and scrap accuracy. Responsible to organize Physical Inventory. Develop action plan on PI results.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies
  2. Follow and comply with all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs
  3. Follows and supports and Magna’s operating principles, including:

    2. Abide by Kamtek policies and procedures as described in the most current version of the Employee Handbook.

    8. Attend and participate in Team, Department, Plant-wide and any other meetings as required.

  4. Responsible for production and scrap report reconciliation on daily basis
  5. Ensure comply with Cycle COSMA Count Checklist guidelines
  6. Establish cycle count calendar
  7. Investigate discrepancies on cycle counts
  8. Implement controls to minimize variations
  9. Generate SWI, train associates and audit process maintain according
  10. Coordinate Physical Inventory on frequency required
  11. Report daily, weekly and monthly inventory variance
  12. Promotes good housekeeping (5S)
  13. Perform other duties as required.

Poisition Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

Must have a good working knowledge and understanding of inventory control and manufacturing environment

Willingness to work extended hours or flexible hours as required to meet training and audit production Team Members.

Experience with basic Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power BI

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 

Must be willing to work in various locations 

KNOWLDEGE/WORK EXP/ADDITIONAL SKILLS

KNOWLEDGE:

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree on Industrial Engineering

TECHNICAL TRAINING:   Previous experience with MRP/ERP

WORK EXPERIENCE: 2-5 year experience on inventory control

ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communication skills and team skills
