Role Summary

The Sr Software Engineer – OS is responsible for the design, implementation, integration, test and debug of embedded C/C++ software for POSIX Based OS running on ADAS Domain controllers. The candidate shall build GHS Integrity, QNX BSPs, QNX IFS images and work on POSIX based OS bring-up. The candidate shall develop or port Linux kernel drivers to QNX using resource manager framework and develop real-time services using QNX OS primitives. Experience with QNX OS on high performance SOCs is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Develop software in compliance with a formal ASPICE/CMMi based global product engineering process (GPEP)
Build BSPs and QNX IFS and support QNX OS bring up on ADAS controller boards.
Integrate Middleware on POSIX based OS.
Design and Develop real-time QNX services and resource managers on ADAS controllers.
Review product requirements and build software that meets customer needs.
Develop device drivers for PCI devices like GPUs, Bus controllers and Sensors.
Integrate SDKs and BSPs into Linux/Integrity/QNX OS from vendors like TI, NXP, Renesas and Nvidia (Bullet point should not exceed one line)

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering / software engineering / electrical engineering / computer science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)

Experience

8+ years’ relevant experience in SW development for automotive electronics projects
Experience on building and integrating on Realtime OS (Linux/Integrity/QNX)
Experience with Fast DDS, Adaptive AUTOSAR is additional advantage.
Experience with multi process software environment using QNX OS on high performace Cortex-A cores.
Working knowledge of software integration for complex SOC from vendors like TI, NXP, Renesas and Nvidia
Experience with device driver development using QNX resource managers.
Experience debugging software tasking issues using Momentics IDE and JTAG.
Expert knowledge of C/C++ in embedded software environment (Bullet point should not exceed one line)
