Role Summary

Magna International Autolaunch Ireland Ltd., a fast-paced, fast-growing multi-national, automotive division of Magna International requires a highly experienced and driven SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR to join their expanding operation in Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow.

 This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate, as they will get the opportunity to add value to a progressive logistics team within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load & Unload Transport & Trailers as required to meet customer needs & deadlines.
  • Maintain Safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies of Autolaunch.
  • Communicate with Transport providers & suppliers to ensure successful timely deliveries.
  • Maintain efficient and up to date auditable records for incoming and outgoing shipments, e.g customer labels ,bills of lading and shipping documents.
  • Report to Manager any problems with incoming/outgoing shipments.
  • Perform Rack & Stillage Audits as requested by our Customers.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate.                                                                                                                                
  • Experience in a busy Production Receiving/Shipping Environment.
  • Current Forklift Licence.                                                                                                       
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative when required.                                                   
  • Proven good record of attendance, timekeeping and conduct.                                                                                                                                                                                  

Additional Information

  • Flexibility with working hours will be required during busy periods in order to meet corporate requirements.
  • Office / Factory / Warehouse environment within a manufacturing setting.
  • Adhere to all of Autolaunch's health, safety and environmental policies.                                 
  • Report any defects, hazards and non-compliance items to the department leadhand(s)/supervisor(s)/manager(s).
  • Report any incident/accident to a first aider/ leadhand /supervisor/ manager.                                           
  • Abide by the operating procedures/work instructions/maintenance practices and procedures of any equipment or machinery used.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as provided by Autolaunch.                                                                                   
  • Responsible for pre-operation inspections of respective equipment, machinery and vehicles so as to ensure proper and safe operation (Preventative Maintenance Checklist).
