About the Role

The Electrical Hardware Tech Lead   is responsible for ADAS Product HW design and Development from concept to Validation in line with Magna Process and tools. Responsible to lead the team technically. 

Your Responsibilities

•    12+ years of experience in Automotive Electrical Hardware Design and Development & Independently handle the team
•    Architecting the solutions 
•    Hands on experience on ADAS or Sensor or similar product   
•    Experience Microcontroller based design, DDR based design, PCIe , SGMII, RGMII, MIPI, GMSL/FPD LINK & High-speed design
•    Understand the Architecture and Component Selection, Power budget calculations and Schematic Entry to design tools
•    Analog, Digital and High-speed design knowledge  
•    Perform Noise Margin Analysis, WCCA, DFMEA, FMEDA, and other HW design analysis
•    Hardware Requirement Document Preparation (HRS )
•    Interpret the SI and PI analysis report and recommend the changes 
•    HW Design Documentation Preparation
•    Good at EMC compliance Design 
•    Experience working with PCB layout Engineer and guiding them (PCB constraint or Specific PCB design guideline)
•    Develop the EMI / EMC test plans 
•    Knowledge in Instrumentation usage , Board bring up and HW debugging 
•    Prepare the HW Test Plan and develop the HW Test cases 
•    Experience in HW Test set up preparation and HW Testing & Test report preparation 
•    Understand the OEM and regulatory requirements & Implement in HW design
•    Review the PCB design and guide the PCB designer to achieve DFM & Design requirements      
•    Actively Participate in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving activities
•    Good knowledge on HDLC and Process implementation for the HW development 
•    Review the Technical work products and guide the team
•    Stakeholder Management experience Eg. Mechanical and SW teams and other teams in the project
•    Customer Interface and customer management skill 

 

Who we are looking for

•    People management and customer interface experience 
•    Estimate the work and effort and plan the activities for the team
•    Good exposure and knowledge on Functional Safety ISO 26262 standard 
•    Good knowledge on DV & PV Testing 
•    HW-SW Integration Testing 
•    Experience in SI & PI Simulation
•    FTA and DFA knowledge

 

Your preferred qualifications

  • B.Tech/BE/ M.S/MTECH in Electrical/ E & C   
  • Experience Automotive Industry is must 
  • ADAS Systems components/Sensor/Camera/ LIDAR/RADAR and subsystem functions knowledge 
  • Good knowledge on Automotive functional Safety ISO-26262 Part5, 
  • Good knowledge on CAN and  Automotive ethernet
  • Requirement elicitation knowledge
