About the Role

In this position as senior hardware requirements engineer you will work in a dedicated team which is responsible to specify and manage hardware requirements for future electric and hybrid vehicles. In your role you are the link between the different departments, like system, software, motor design, test and the hardware design. After an appropriate introduction period, you will be responsible for the following tasks, among others

Your Responsibilities

•    Requirements engineering and management of hardware requirements for traction inverters
•    Analysis, review and assessment of customer and system requirements, interdisciplinary alignment
•    Derivation of hardware requirements and documentation according to the applicable processes in the requirements tool like PTC Windchill RV&S and Rational DOORS Next Generation
•    Coordination of reviews, release of the requirements documents
•    Evaluation and tracking of the requirements status

 

Who we are looking for

Hardware Requirement Engineer, Inverter

Your preferred qualifications

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar
•    Several years of experience in requirements management and engineering, preferably regarding traction inverters
•    Design experience in signal and power electronics 
•    Familiar with requirements engineering and management tools
•    Profound knowledge of applicable automotive processes and standards, e.g. Automotive SPICE
•    Good understanding regarding functional safety and cyber security and the applicable standards, e.g. ISO26262
