About the Role
As an experienced Electronics Design Engineer, you will be involved in the electronics design & development and requirements engineering of the traction inverter for electric vehicles.
Your Responsibilities
• Hardware design and development
• Understanding and selection of HW components like MOSFETs, gate drivers ICs, sensors, filters etc.
• Hands on Simulation/Tools e.g. MATLAB, Simetrix, LTSpice, Ansys tools etc.
• Experience in using basic test equipment like Oscilloscopes, Power meters, electronic loads etc.
• Develop, design, validate and optimize complex Power Electronics PCB layouts using Altium Designer, ensuring adherence to IPC standards and best practices.
• Perform PCB Library creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing and generate manufacturing files considering signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC requirements.
• Experience in understanding hardware requirement engineering process.
• Good to have experience in requirement engineering tools like DOORS/PTC.
• Support selection of the single system components and their integration into overall inverter Hardware
• Manages communication and alignment with all affected stakeholders.
Who we are looking for
• Knowledge on automotive EMI/EMC testing standards
• Knowledge in the field of functional safety (ISO 26262)
• Experience in the automotive sector is desirable.
• Very good written and spoken English skills
Your preferred qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/Electrical/Power Electronics engineering or equivalent from reputed university/institution
• 3 to 10 years of experience in electronics circuit design or relevant job experience.
