Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Magna New Mobility is a startup inside Magna International, a mobility technology company and oneof the largest automotive suppliers in the world. The New Mobility team is building a suiteof new products and services to solve complex challenges associated with moving people andgoods at scale. We are utilizing Magna’s technology building blocks and capabilities into newmarkets and use cases. So far we have advanced solutions in micromobility markets (eg Yulu, Yuma,Cartken, among others) and have other projects and target markets still in development aroundindustrial material handling, commercial and autonomous vehicles.
 

Your Responsibilities

• Develop tools and fl ows to automate and optimize soft ware deployment and testi ng, across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, especially in AWS.
• Deploy and monitor applicati ons in Producti on environment using Terraform, Kubernetes, monitoring andlogging tools along with other technologies.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions and tools that meets business needs.
• Ensure software quality and reliability by following best practices and standards.
• Proactively perform other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals.

Who we are looking for

MNM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in an AWS Cloud environment.As the Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with an innovative SoftwarePlatform Team, taking on the critical role of maintaining and building our infrastructure and tools related to one of our most critical products. This position will be hybrid based in our Lowell office.#LI-hybrid

Your preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related studies
• 5 years of experience in Cloud DevOps Engineering, ideally in an AWS environment
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Github, Jenkins, Gitlab.
• Profi cient in one or more programming languages, such as Python.
• Experience with Terraform and confi gurati on management and deployment automati on tools, such asTerraform, Ansible
• Experience with containerizati on and orchestrati on tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Registry.
• Experience in producti on deployment: scaling, performance, monitoring, security and networking.
• Experience working with monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
