Specialist, Power BI

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PowerBI Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using the PowerBI platform. As a PowerBI Specialist, you will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, design, and develop data models, and create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards. You will play a key role in driving data insights, decision-making, and overall business performance

Your Responsibilities

•    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives for reporting and analytics.
•    Design and develop efficient and scalable data models to support reporting needs.
•    Utilize the PowerBI platform to transform raw data into meaningful insights, visually engaging reports, and interactive dashboards.
•    Clean, validate, and integrate disparate data sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
•    Optimize data models and reports for performance and usability.
•    Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure proper data governance, data security, and data quality standards are implemented.
•    Train and support end-users to effectively utilize PowerBI tools and features.
•    Stay up to date with the latest PowerBI features, best practices, and industry trends.
•    Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve any PowerBI-related issues.
•    Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
•    Supporting and continuous improvement of existing PowerApps.
•    Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages is essential.
•    High degree of user focus and service orientation.

Who we are looking for

Power BI Developer

Your preferred qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
•    Proven experience as a PowerBI Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on data visualization and reporting.
•    In-depth knowledge of PowerBI, including DAX formulas, data modeling, and creating visually engaging dashboards.
•    Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Experience with other data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.) is a plus.
•    Excellent data visualization and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and meaningful insights.
•    Proficiency in using the PowerBI platform and its various features, including DAX formulas and data modeling.
