About the Role

Magna Powertrain is looking for a talented Managed Workplace Power App / SharePoint Developer who can support and manage the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint on global basis. The successful candidate will collaborate with customers to deliver effective and innovative business technology solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and Azure services. Also, will play a strategic role in maintaining and developing those systems and ensuring the secure and reliable operation in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop solutions on cloud-based Microsoft 365 platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate.
  • Develop canvas apps based on SharePoint, SQL Server, and Dataverse as backend.
  • Supporting existing canvas apps and Power Automate flows by troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.
  • Provide out of the box customizations on SharePoint online including creating lists, libraries, content types, webparts, pages, lookup columns, permissions etc.
  • SharePoint migration activities including copy/move or restructure contents.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure solutions address their needs, demo solutions to the business.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint search service, user profile service, term store.
  • Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  • Setting tasks and development goals.
  • Testing and debugging code.
  • Reviewing website interface and software stability.
  • Troubleshooting software issues.
  • Providing systems training to staff and customers.
  • To be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.
  • Go-to person for all questions around Web application, Webcasts, Teams sites.
  • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Participation in on-call rotation support

Who we are looking for

  • 6-9 years hands on experience in building model-driven apps.
  • Building Power Automate flows with triggers, actions, conditions, loops, and paging.
  • Optimizing and querying large data using Power Automate using concurrency, paging etc.
  • Creating and managing custom connectors.
  • Utilizing SQL Server to create and manage tables, views, and stored procedures.
  • Supporting existing canvas apps and Power Automate flows by troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, SQL Server, and Web Services.
  • Ability to solve complex software issues.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Preferably bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a relevant field.
  • Experience using Power Apps and Power Automate to develop solutions using various connectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of Canvas Apps, Model driven Apps, Power Portals and Power Automate.
  • Experience using Power Automate to create workflows that connect existing applications (e.g., Office 365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Power Apps, Outlook, SQL Server etc.).
  • Building canvas app components and component libraries.
  • Designing and developing tables, security configurations, and solutions in Dataverse
