About the Role

As a Master Data Management Junior Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the company's master data. This includes data related to customers, products, suppliers, and other critical business entities. You will assist on various skills such as Power BI Visualization, Data Analyzation, ETL processes for various groups and divisions, maintain the quality of the governed data, map new data from different ERPs to a universal standardized language.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of data management principles, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail. Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as master data management software and data quality tools, is also desirable.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with IT teams to implement and maintain master data management systems. Support on the database designing and architecture side.
  • Analyze source systems data to make meaningful connections participating in data migration and integration projects.
  • Create Power BI reports to support the business needs.
  • Support business in daily activities to improve data quality such as meeting with different Magna groups to support their needs when it comes to Master Data. Work together with Finance department of quarterly basis to keep financial data in sync. Work together with Real Estate department to support the quarterly locations update.
  • Follow Magna Master Data Management Governance Standards by analyzing ERP data and making meaningful connections between the data and our global applications. 

Who we are looking for

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science.
  • Knowledge in a Data Visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
  • DAX Queries knowledge is an advantage.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with database concepts and experience working with relational databases, such as SQL, SQL queries, procedures and transactions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of programming concepts and experience with data manipulation tools, such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools (Talend, Inubit), can be beneficial.
  • Java knowledge is an advantage.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, proficiency in MS Excel is desired.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and good German communication skills. 
  • Knowledge in Master Data Management’s best practices is an advantage.
  • Experience in Data Analysis role is preferred.
