About the Role

The Manager of Software Test is responsible for leading the software testing for the Pre and Development team that develops, and integrates software for ADAS Driver Monitoring System electronic modules. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in software test engineering, leadership in managing development processes, and a strong background in Camera and Image processing (ISP), BSP software automotive systems, particularly ADAS

Your Responsibilities

•    Recruit, train, and mentor a team of software test engineers and test specialists.
•    Report Status on regular basis to Senior Management.
•    Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
•    Lead by example, setting high standards for quality, efficiency, and ethical conduct.
•    Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and setting clear objectives for team members.
•    Recognize and reward exceptional performance to encourage high standards of work and dedication.
•    Lead the software integration and qualification testing in alignment with automotive industry standards.
•    Provide expertise in System on Chip (SoC) implementations, particularly with platforms like TI TDA4.
•    Employ structured problem-solving methods like 8D to systematically address and mitigate issues.
•    Expertise and Exposure of Software Integration and qualification testing tools such as CANoe, CANanalyzer etc
•    Expertise and exposure in programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, python, CMM scripting etc.
•    Manage all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring compliance with formal ASPICE/CMMi based Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP).

 

Who we are looking for

•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development/testing.
•    Previous Experience on Leading Software testing for AUTOSAR Projects (Optional)
•    Experience on Software testing on POSIX based Operating System like QNX, Linux, Threax
•    Proven track record of building and managing software development teams.
•    Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ programming and systems architecture.
•    Familiarity with automotive industry standards and embedded systems development.
•    Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
•    Expertise in scripting languages like CAPL, Python, CMM etc.

 

Your preferred qualifications

•    Experience with ADAS or other automotive technologies.
•    Proficiency in modern software testing tools and methodologies.
•    Experience in managing distributed teams and international projects.
•    Experience on CI/CD, Containerization, Digital Twin is an added advantage
