Role Summary

 To deliver cost effective manufacturing solutions for the assembly of stamped metal components which meets all customer quality and timing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for on-time delivery of integrated assembly lines which meets all customer requirements related to cost and quality, management of suppliers to ensure expectations and deliverables are met, ensuring assembly lines are constructed to Kamtek Equipment Build Standards and meet all OSHA related safety requirements, and ensuring that assembly lines are operator friendly with due consideration being given to ergonomics, material flow and lean build philosophies.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Ensure timely delivery which meets program milestones utilizing program management
  2. Communicate all customer driven changes to ensure assembly line is built to proper production revision levels
  3. Ensure that line is built in accordance to all aspects of the latest version of the Kamtek Equipment Build Standards
  4. Understand and communicate all customer requirements
  5. Utilize good working knowledge of all technologies used in the development and build of automated assembly lines
  6. Ensure effective deployment of all available resources
  7. Customer and supplier interface
  8. Develop and implement innovative solutions to manufacturing issues related to product development or enhancement
  9. Execute manpower efficiency studies, through time and motion studies, or standard data to ensure effective line balancing of both manpower and machine
  10. Assist in developing material handling logistics, including aisle layout and bin placement

-Must be willing to work extended or flexible hours as needed to meet customer requirements
