Role Summary

Assures all locations have correct material and adequate supplies, transfers all materials and finished products to specific locations, relief person for breaks, does all material changeovers, assists die setters, general maintenance of all related equipment, and general housekeeping for process areas.

Key Responsibilities

Good understanding of quality standards and quality acceptance.  Material transferred to the proper locations. Supply each operator with materials necessary to keep production running (WIP, totes, foam, clips, gloves, empty racks, etc.). Support production operators to avoid any unnecessary downtime. General departmental organization and tidiness. Movement of material or product to appropriate holding spot to await further process. Completion all required audits and check sheets. Relieve operators for breaks when required. Safe operation of all types of forklifts, and/or motorized pallet jacks. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Standup Forklift training and experience.

Basic Computer Knowledge
