About the Role
The IT Intern works for and under the general direction of the IT Manager. The IT Intern position will be responsible for assisting in the development of new applications used in the manufacturing process, refactoring and documenting code in existing and upgraded applications, performing new release activity in parallel with existing developers, and performing unit and integration testing of developed code.
Your Responsibilities

• To report all accidents immediately.
• To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Decostar.
• To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions.
Who we are looking for
• Refactor application code.
• Develop new applications or new application functions under the direction of a Senior Developer.
• Perform code unit testing and integration testing under the direction of a Senior Developer.
• Create application documentation, release notes, and update notes as needed.
• Work with application development team members in releasing new application code.
• Perform application troubleshooting under the direction of a Senior Developer.
• Perform other duties as directed.
Your preferred qualifications
• Regular contact with internal customer representatives involved with application implementation projects.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Enrollment in an accredited college or university with a focus on IT.
