This position reports directly to the Sr. HR Generalist and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of Decostar as described below:

 

Specific Job Duties:

Recruiter

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent and measurable. Set continuous improvement goals.
  • Administrative duties and recordkeeping as it pertains to the application, offer and onboard process.

Brand Engagement

  • Design and develop the engagement and communications strategy and supporting plans.
  • Manage communications channels to ensure consistency and relevance.
  • Advise key internal stakeholders on employee engagement initiatives ensuring alignment with the vision and principles and values.
  • Manage all relevant intranet post, ensuring that content is kept up to date.
  • Ensure brand consistency.
  • To be responsible for the successful delivery of engagement events within agreed cost and quality parameters.

Overall

  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all dealings.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, as required.
  • Must be able to travel and obtain required travel documents, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Related Work Experience

  • 2+ years previous Recruitment/ HR-related experience required; preferably  in a manufacturing related environment
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Must have strong interpersonal influence and problem solving skills.
  • Must have experience in using Microsoft Office software applications.

 

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in HR, Business Administration, or related field of study
