Trainee Controlling Czech Republic (m/f/d)

Role Summary

For Cosma Europe we are looking for a Trainee Controlling [m/f/d] for the next possible date.

Our Trainee Program will expand your potential in just one year. You will gain valuable insights and hands-on experience as you work as part of a great team and alongside diverse top-class professionals, behind some of the world-class body, chassis and engineering solutions. You will start in our Group office in Sailauf, Germany and then be assigned to one of our plants, preferably in Czech Republic.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting
• Support in the preparation of forecasts and budgets (planning) including scenario considerations
• Coordination of budget planning and forecasting, evaluation and preparation of sub-plans
• Preparation of monthly target/actual comparisons
• Coordination and support of monthly / annual closing activities according to local and US-GAAP requirements
• Consolidation of Cosma Europe's monthly / quarterly and annual financial statements in Hyperion
• Ensuring compliance with Magna Finance Policy

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• successfully completed degree in business administration in the field of controlling / finance or equivalent professional training with profound knowledge of controlling
• 2 years of professional experience in the field of controlling, ideally in an international environment in the automotive industry
• enjoy working in an international company, which is coupled with a willingness to travel and flexible commitment
• good knowledge of SAP | FICO
• independent way of working and result orientation
• good knowledge in accounting preferably in US GAAP
• fluently speaking and writing in English and Czech
