Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of customer requirements and developing SW for automotive powertrain products, i.e. AWD/4WD, NEV eDrive system….
  • Develop SW modules including but not limited:
    • Autosar OS/CAN-FD/Network management/Diag event & com management
    • Flash bootloader
    • Non-volatile memory driver & application
    • Functional safety
    • Cyber security
    • ……
  • Maintain SW build environment, scripts (makefile,linker) and development tools;
  • Implement/support SW validation and verification based on requirements
  • Design validation and manufacturing EOL test SW
  • Design and configuration of SW modules according to internal requirements
  • Test and documentation of the SW modules
  • Definition and alignment of interfaces between SW sub-modules
  • Work with the customer to understand and align product requirements, accordant specifications and required deliverables
  • Create technical presentations for internal discussions, management reporting and customer meetings
  • Ability to manage tough situations within an interdisciplinary and multicultural team

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum B.S. Degree in computer science, electronics, mechatronics , communication engineering or similar field (M.S. Degree preferred)
  • above 3-5 years working experience in Embedded SW development
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills
  • Familiar with Autosar architecture, and have adaptive Autosar project experience
  • Knowledge and experience in engineering methods, toolchain and processes incl. base competences in Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262
  • Key behavioural traits for success as creativity, innovation, customer focus, solution-based approach
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional preferable qualification

  • Automotive background
  • Experience in functional safety software development
  • Knowledge or experience in implementing and integrating OEM specific Automotive Vehicle Networks (CAN, FlexRay) embedded software
  • User of configuration management software
  • Experienced in using CAN & LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape
  • Experience in automotive embedded real-time control system development
