Role Summary

To assist in control of the financial activities of Eagle Bend Industries and to supply management with accurate and timely data regarding the financial performance of the division
Responsible for quality and conformance of product to customer specifications per control plans utilizing TS16949 & ISO14001 documented systems; authority to stop non-conforming processes and report same to supervisor, Quality Assurance and/or Engineering department representative

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain reporting system for current levels of financial performance

  •     Forecasting sales and business planning
  •     Develop plan to improve financial performance
  •     Implement key indicators to determine relevance to plan
  •     Lead and develop Finance Team Members to accomplish above
  •     Seek out ways to improve systems while reducing costs through Continuous Improvement
  •     Manage MIS (Management Information System) to suit manufacturing needs
  •     Represent division within U.S. Cosma group and within Magna International
  •     Housekeeping and other activities as required
  •     Support and enforce compliance to TS16949 & ISO14001 procedures and work instructions.
  •     Provide a safe and healthful work environment that is free of all recognized hazards for employees, contractors and visitors.
  •     Cooperate with all local, state and federal agencies, such as OSHA or the EPA, in the event of an inspection.
  •     Know, follow and enforce all applicable SH&E Rules, Policies and Procedures.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • 4-6 years miimum experience  
  • B.S. in Accounting
  • CPA (certified public accountant) helpful but not required
  • MIS knowledge
  • Through understaning of GAAP (Generally Accetpted Accuounting Principles) and financial planning relative to manufacturing
  • Project Management Skills
  • Excelent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorties for various customers (Internal and External) 
  • Preparation of Financial statements
  • Costing, Planning Corporate Tax Preparation
