About the Role
Eagle Bend Manufacturing, a leading Tier 1 Automobile Manufacturer, we are seeking an experience Customer Contact Scheduler to act as liaison between customer, shipping and receiving and production to ensure on-time delivery of quality product on a JIT Qust in time) basis and that all customer specific requirements are met.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate JIT product shipments against customer releases and purchase orders
- Coordinate special customer requests and respond accordingly
- Coordination of product between EBM and subcontractors
- Monitor Eagle Bend delivery/service performance; take corrective action where appropriate to ensure customer specific requirements are met
- Perpetual inventory analysis and investigation of shortages/overages and that inventory targets are met
- Participate in regular scheduled physical inventories and cycle counts as required
- Coordination of new program launches to ensure timely delivery and customer-specific requirements are met
- Coordinate program build-outs of old product lines and bank builds as needed
- Answer customer portals at window scheduled times accurately
Who we are looking for
- Prior Inventory Control experience a requirement, preferably in manufacturing
- Inventory flow, JIT principles, automotive background preferred
- Experience with scheduling preferred
- 2-5 years' experience
- Ability to work overtime hours is required
Your preferred qualifications
- Bachelor Degree a plus
TECHNICAL EDUCATION:
- APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society)
- MRP or MRP II (Material Release Point) system implementation
