Blanking Operator - Afternoons, flexible for nights

  • Operate 200 Ton blanking press in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform die set-up and coil loading as per the changeover schedule.
  • Ensures production standards are met.
  • Inspects parts according to Quality Control Inspection Instructions.
  • Follow all Operator Work Instructions.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, through correct label generation and accurate scrap reporting.
  • Reports any abnormalities of parts and machine or other equipment to the Supervisor immediately. Suggests corrective action where applicable.
  • Ensures machine and work areas are kept clean and organized at all times. Co-operates with the Safety Committee and adheres to all plant safety and housekeeping rules and policies, including the wearing of all personal protective equipment. Reports any concerns to Supervisor.
  • Completes production-reporting sheets at end of run and/or end of shift. Re-sets counter to zero.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.
  • Any other reasonable request made by Management.





  • Good working knowledge of English, verbal and written.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Ability to drive Forklift.
  • Ability to operate machinery relating to job.
  • Knowledge of tools relating to job.
