Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure layout and signage for all purchased parts and raw material – a place for everything and everything in its place.
  • Ensure all signage is MAFACT compliant and kept up to date to latest revision levels.
  • De-skid mixed skids or single boxes to keep production in its designate location
  • Utilize FIFO labels or Manufacturing dates to ensure First in First out
  • Maintain 5S and cleanliness in all material storage areas
  • Spot counts of components or raw materials as necessary or requested by inventory analyst
  • Troubleshoot any missing or lost material as necessary or requested by inventory analyst
  • Help with any engineering level or revision level changes to purchased parts or components
  • Work in conjunction with supplier quality to ensure prompt return or disposition of all rejected material
  • Safely operate forklift, as required.
  • Ensure compliance to QMS (IATF16949), EMS (ISO14001), and security (PIP) requirements.
  • Ensure, with the cooperation of other Co-Ex-Tec departments and Corporate that the division achieves and maintains the highest possible Customer rating for satisfaction; strive for zero defects in all areas of the business.
  • Follow all work cell and/or department standardized work instructions/procedures.
  • Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, safe operating procedures, good housekeeping practices and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times.
  • Any other reasonable requests made by Management.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, with strong mathematics skills, preferred
  • Licensed fork lift driver,required
  • Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical abilities
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset
