  • Responsible for performing defect cut analysis and determining root cause of defects
  • Using the analysis of the defect, introduce counter measures
  • Create daily defect reports indicating trends related to part type, paint layer, defect type
  • Respond to production call for defect identification
  • Perform regular audit of workcells to validate defect classification
  • Identify paint racks that need to be cleaned or repaired.
  • Interact with Paint Supervisors and Maintenance to ensure areas of concern for Production are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Other duties, which may be assigned by the Paintline Manager.
  • Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.
  • Perform duties in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation.
  • Any other reasonable request made by Management.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.





  • Able to use a microscope
  • Considerable attention to detail required to complete tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Long periods of visual attention required.
  • Occasional use of tools, equipment or machines that requires manual dexterity.
  • Must have extremely strong computer skills.
  • Must be fluent in English and maintain a co-operative and positive manner with other staff members in a team spirited environment.
