Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
  1. Abide by Segregation of Duties requirements related to a privileged IT Administrator over Systems
  2. Troubleshoot computer/printer/network problems both in person and remotely
  3. Manage Helpdesk Ticketing system and ensure calls are received, distributed and closed out.
  4. Provide technical support for the user community at Co-Ex-Tec
  5. Maintain security compliance on end user devices and computer equipment
  6. Support Mobile Devices for end users
  7. Set up, configure and maintain users, groups and computers in Active Directory
  8. Monitor all Physical and Virtual Servers
  9. Willing to be on call 24 Hours a day, and weekends where appropriate for Emergency support requests
  10. Participate in best practices activities with other Corporate Information Systems personnel
  11. Promote and ensure Customer and relevant Regulatory compliance to QMS (IATF 16949), EMS (ISO14001), and security (CTPAT) requirements.
  12. Ensure, with the cooperation of other Co-Ex-Tec departments and Corporate that the division achieves and maintains the highest possible Customer Rating for satisfaction
  13. Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, safe operating procedures, good housekeeping practices and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times.
  14. Initiate and/or participate in continuous improvement activities.
  15. Follow all work cell/and or department standardized work instructions/procedures.
  16. May be required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature.
  17. Any other reasonable duties required by Management.

 

Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in an IT related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, punctual independent tolerant
  • Microsoft Software Packages (Office, Project, Visio)
  • Microsoft Operating Systems in a Domain Environment (Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 a minimum)
  • Linux Administration Experience an asset
  • Network Administration Knowledge (Cisco and Asset)
