Role Summary
Perform routine molding line operations with the expectation to reach production goals, while ensuring that instated quality and 5S standards are being upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs packing operations, sorts, counts, palletizes and reports production.
- Performs task from work instructions
- Assesses the quality of manufactured parts through visual inspection and the application of statistical quality sampling procedures.
- Notifies supervisor/process tech of difficulties in operation.
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications.
- Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Other duties as assigned
- Understand your responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. Cooperate with OSHA inspectors. Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. Follow all safety rules. Report unsafe conditions immediately. Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage immediately. Will not remove or make ineffective any protective device such as a guard, light curtain, etc. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment that the employee is not trained to operate. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment in a manner that may endanger any employee including themselves.
- Understand your responsibility to the environmental programs, including ISO14001. Understand the importance of conformance with all environmental procedures of the environmental management system, including emergency response. Understand the EMS consequences, actual or potential, of their work activities and/or their behaviors from specified work instructions.
- Complete all necessary paperwork on time and accurately such as glass traceability, scrap sheets, daily production reports, 5S checklists, and start-up checklists.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping practices.

- Must be able to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, part descriptions, and operation instruction sheets
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to effectively interact with employees in a team environment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- One to three months related experience and/or training is preferred but not necessary
