Your New Role
Working with Finance Team to prepare, analyze and provide timely information to aid in decision making, while helping to ensure proper procedures are followed and maintained as per the Magna Finance Policy.
As a Financial Analyst You Will
- Prepares and analyzes various management reports on production sales, costs & margins, departmental costs, and controllable expenses.
- Assist with preparation of quarterly forecast and annual budget for the division.
- Assists with management overhead spend control processes.
- Responsible for the completion of monthly General Ledger reconciliation and analysis.
- Responsible for capital expenditure justification, approvals, forecasting capital spending, tracking actuals expenditures by project and maintenance and updating of fixed assets subledger
- Assists with costing and analysis of Tooling Programs.
- Margin Analysis of products and programs.
- Work together with Finance team for a more efficient month, quarter and year end. Cut off and improved administrative procedures.
- Assist with GL interfaces, subledgers for A/R, A/P and related accounts, and reconcile to general ledger each month, along with other month-end duties, as needed.
- Assist in Ad Hoc projects to improve overall financial process and controls
- Work within the guidelines of the Deco Associate Handbook.

SAFETY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Accepts personal responsibility to plan and conduct their work safety in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as company policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for Good House Keeping in your area.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Finance or equivalent,
- CPA Designation or near completion of CPA Designation,
- Minimum 5 years experience in a finance and/or accounting role,
- Advanced Excel skills
