Role Summary

The Controls Engineer will ensure that all systems are functioning as well as troubleshoot any problems during the assigned work shift.

Key Responsibilities

Oversees the operation and programming of all industrial control systems and equipment. Determines industrial controls needs with respect to the current operation and plans for future controls needs. Interacts with engineering, maintenance and operations concerning controls systems issues and solutions. Ensures the proper operations of the following systems – PLC Systems, VFD’s, HMIs, Control Networks, Windows Servers, WAN, LAN, and desktop PC’s.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • A four-year degree with a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience in computer information systems, engineering OR the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Must have ability troubleshoot Rockwell automation products including Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix programs.
  • Must have previous experience working with PLC & HMI
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility with work assignments and hours
  • Ignition Software experience preferred
