The Business Analyst and IT Process Design Consultant communicates with business SME´s as well as with IT solution architects and software engineers.

 

He/she is experienced in the management of IT projects and requirements engineering.

The range for IT projects is from small improvement initiatives up to process and IT integration of new complete vehicle projects into Magna Steyr´s system landscape within a defined subject area.

Your Tasks

 

 

You represent Magna Steyr IT in front of our customers, our leaders and internal SME´s. You will explain complex issues in a comprehensible way and quickly get to the point.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities are

 

  • Requirements engineering and design of IT functionalities in a defined subject area
  • Perform the product owner´s role within IT projects and make sure the new functionalities fulfill the requirements
  • Project lead for changes in IT software and / or integration of new software
  • Contact person and consultant for issues and requirements from the SME´s functional departments within process improvement initiatives or 3rd level incident management

 

You are member of a global organization and you are open to short-term missions abroad.

Your Profile

 

 

You have several years of professional experience in at least one of the following subject areas within automotive business:

  • Product data management (drawing, geometric model, bill of material and resource planning)
  • Order processing/order control (order creation in series production, scheduling over several production stages, tracking of production progress, delivery to the customer)
  • Material planning (parts call-off from the supplier, delivery monitoring, transport organization, material coverage calculation, non-conformance processing)
  • Materials management (goods receipt, commissioning, line-feed)
  • Maintenance (equipment, building, TPM)
  • Production planning and processing (work planning with MTM, work instruction, control plan, conversion of OBOM into production orders, coding/flashing of ECUs, end of line testing)
  • Product costing and controlling (determination of manufacturing costs and sales price, SAP MM/SD/PP/CO)
     

You are experienced in transforming business process requirements into IT requirements and you had an active role in IT projects or coordinated IT initiatives within your organisation.

 

Required knowledge and education

  • Master´s degree
  • Basic knowledge of software development and databases (e.g. relational databases, database queries, Microsoft Power BI)
  • Certification in process management beneficial
  • Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Lean Production Black Belt beneficial
  • German and English, Level C1
  • Moderate willingness to travel

Our Offer

 

For this function, we offer an attractive compensation package from € 4.150,-- to € 5.053,-- including variable remuneration element. Depending on qualifications and skills the salary will be adjusted significantly!
