Role Summary


We are currently looking for a Senior Manager Total Rewards (m/f) with analytical skills and managerial experience to lead our Total Rewards team for Europe. In this role you will participate in the further development of Magna’s Total Rewards strategy, programs, and systems.

Key Responsibilities


Further development and continuous improvement of our Total Rewards programs, processes, and tools in Europe in line with best practice and our global HR strategy
• Management of Magna’s Profit Participation Program including project planning, employee communications and vendor relations
• Support the digitization and alignment of our Total Rewards processes and structure in the context of the global HRIS roll-out project
• Deploy our group wide job grading methodology (Mercer IPE) and benchmarking standards
• Advise and support European HR Business Partners and stakeholders in Total Rewards related topics
• Stay up to date with Total Rewards trends and market adjustments
• Support our annual salary review process and provide market insights for further business development
• Support European HR Business Partners with questions regarding international assignments/ Global Mobility

Education and Work Experience


• University degree in economics, business administration, finance or in another relevant field
• 7+ years of work experience in human resources or consulting, with a focus on compensation & benefits

Skills & Competencies


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong focus on customer service and effective communication
• Methodological knowledge in the field of compensation & benefits, e.g., job evaluation systems (ideally Mercer methodology)
• Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and Power Point
• Experience with Workday is an advantage
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Proven project management skills
• Proven leadership skills
• Demonstrate high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
• Knowledge of European labor and tax law an asset but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English and German
