For our Business Unit Aerospace, a Division of Magna Steyr Engineering in Graz/Austria we are searching for a Simulation Engineer Aerospace (m/f/d).

The position is for a highly innovative project in the aviation industry for the development of emission-free hydrogen propulsion systems. It offers the possibility of actively working on the future of CO2-free air transport and contributing to climate protection.
 
Magna Steyr Aerospace develops and manufactures components for the aerospace industry. The Aerospace Team has an extensive know-how and decades of experience in working on complex projects. We have an established network of partners to provide a wide range of services our customers

 

Your Tasks

 

  • Establish 1D fluid/thermodynamic models of cryogenic systems in Matlab-Simulink
  • Operational simulation and support of customer simulation environment
  • Support modeling activities for CFD analysis
  • Coordination of analysis activities to external suppliers
  • Coordination of software and hardware interfaces to customer and supplier
  • Support for system development, testing and verification
  • Technical documentation and support for manufacturing and quality assurance
  • Work closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team

Your Profile

 

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace, materials science, or similar.
  • Min. 2 years experience in Matlab/Simulink
  • Profound know-how in thermodynamics
  • Experience in using CFD tools advantageous
  • Ability to link theoretical analysis results to practical design decisions
  • Teamwork, self-employment, and the ability to form and manage multidisciplinary teams at the project level
  • High level of commitment and flexibility
  • Experience or knowledge of cryogenics and cryogenic applications advantageous
  • Organizing ability as well as high sense of responsibility
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

For this position the monthly gross salary is starting at € 3.500,- depending on specific work experience an overpayment is applicable.
