About the Role

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist (m/f/d)  to be an integral part of our team in Graz. It´s a part-time position (approx. 20 hours).  Reporting to the HR Manager, you support the HR team and the overall employee experience of all Magna Corporate Austria employees. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with all HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Provide HR project support to HR business partners (Talent Management, Learning & Development, Onboarding, KPI Reports, etc.)
  • Support with recruitment-related topics
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, events, anniversary gifts, appreciation presents, etc.
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained and make recommendations for corrective action as appropriate in HRIS
  • Support payroll where required
  • Support improving HR processes (reporting landscape, knowledge transfer)
  • Prepare communication material (presentations, training material, newsletters)
  • Take over onboarding and offboarding process
  • Other duties as required
     

Who we are looking for

  • Min. 2 years of experience in HR or a related field
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Austrian labor law is an asset
  • Payroll Skills are an asset
  • SAP HR / Workday experience is an asset

 

Your preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
