Safety & Reliability Engineer Aerospace (m/w/x)
Location: Graz / asap / Full-time

 

 

Your Job!

 

  • Develop of safety architecture for aerospace components in project development phase
  • Perform of safety, reliability, traceability and failure root cause analysis for flight systems
  • Generate safety analyses reports, hazard and risk analyses like, FMEA´s, FHA, IHA, FTA, CMA and other related documentation
  • Close cooperation with all engineering teams and quality department in order to increase product reliability and safety 
  • Create and maintain system level safety requirements and related design documents
  • Act as a competent contact person for our customer regarding functional safety related topics
  • Contribute to the improvement of the company’s reliability tools and processes to increase efficiency and reliability
  • S&R activities coordination internal and with subcontractors 

 

Why you?

 

  • University degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar, preferably Aerospace) 
  • Profound experience in conducting safety and reliability analyses like FHA, FMEA, FTA, IHA, CMA etc.
  • Expertise in component reliability calculation and Single Event Effects analysis methods (min. 3 – 5 years of experience)
  • Communication skills and customer orientation, ability to work independently on the base of deliverables
  • Very good English and German language skills – (further languages welcome)
  • Design of functional and technical safety concepts by using FMEA tools (APIS preferred)
  • Preferably knowledge of SAE ARP 4761 / SAE ARP 4754 / EASA CS-25 / DO-254 / DO-160 / ECSS norms
  • Experience in hydrogen technology preferred

Your profile matters!

 

Your salary will be agreed on the basis of your qualification, professional experience and your future tasks. The minimum salary, depending on qualification, ranges between € 3.300,-- and € 4.000,-- gross/month (14 x p. a.) on full-time basis. Depending on your professional experience, we are open to consider additional payment.
