Il gruppo Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting è specializzato nelle tecnologie automotive che guidano il futuro della mobilità. Key Responsibilities

  • Generally assigned to develop & improve existing and new automotive electromechanical systems 
  • Captures customer requirements, regulations and product specifications into the design of the assigned products/systems 
  • Generate black box and grey box functional strategies for mechatronic systems definitions, up to vehicle level 
  • Ensures customer requirements, regulations and product specifications are executed in the system design of the assigned products.
  • Writes/compiles engineering content for the following deliverables: product specifications, mechanization drawings, System DFMEA, compliance matrix, system DVP&R’s, 8D’s.
  • Participate in creation and analysis of system models
  • Manage projects in Polarion, ensuring completion of delegated work packages
  • Complete ISO 26262 work packages as required
  • Support customer system level discussions
  • Uses system analysis tools (LabView, programmers, oscilloscopes, meters, analyzers, etc.) to evaluate system performance and troubleshoot system function when issues arise
  • Review, approve, completes, and submits required change notices to ensure system meets design inputs
  • Participate in code reviews / component design with peers and customer to ensure system requirements are fulfilled
  • Able to develop new / optimize existing project documentations to add value and improve efficiency of communication
  • Supports system analysis activities. Fundamental understanding and ability to apply/utilize basic mathematical models for mechatronic systems and software simulation such as MatLab, Simulink and software development environments for embedded applications
  • Independently prioritizes the completion of tasks and resolution of issues to ensure compliance to Customer requirements and program deliverables.
  • Works with senior engineering personnel to support and drive best practices in design specifications, manufacturing processes, customer requirements, and safety requirements
  • Understanding of executing internal change management, and adapting to customer change management systems, to ensure accuracy and proper protocol when processing engineering change requests

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electronics/Mechatronics/Electrical/Physics/Computer Engineering/Control Systems
  • Demonstrated ability to apply system methodologies to design and be able to develop cascading requirement scenarios required
  • Knowledge in ISO 26262 and ASPICE preferred.
  • Possess working knowledge of EDA tools, electronic circuit board design and manufacturing (Preferred).
  • Vehicle level bus communication protocol development experience (i.e. CAN, LIN) (Preferred)
  • System/Subsystem architecture development experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical hardware, software and electrical circuit theory as it relates to embedded controls for electro-mechanical systems. 
  • Base knowledge of C/C+
  • Understanding of standard software processes and industry requirements IEEE, MISRA, AUTOSAR (Preferred)
