Your Responsibilities

- Co-ordinate and prepare quote responses for new program RFQ’s.
- Process and manage all engineering changes to existing programs.  Quote and track all changes, pursue and process purchase orders in   a timely fashion.  Maintain program files - electronic       and hardcopy.
- Prepare & submit detailed quote capital requests to corporate head office.
- Responsible for general correspondence to customers; including the completion of customer specific forms.
- Work directly with Account Management Team, Engineers, and Purchasing in developing strategies for negotiations.
- Support Product Engineering, Accounting and Customer Service departments as required.
- Participate in pricing and tooling negotiations as required.
- Liaison with accounts receivable and account management team, regarding outstanding financial issues.
- Manage and enter pricing into Future 3 System, maintain databases for GSD, ECN/ECP, and APQP for all programs.
- Manage APQP tasks and deadlines related to programs.
- Maintain customer quoting databases for new quotes, engineering changes and capacity inquiries.
- Complete periodic audits of existing programs to ensure quoting accuracy.
- Participate in customer visits and tours of the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
 

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will Coordinate and prepare quote responses for new program RFQ’s. Process and manage all engineering changes to existing programs, working closely with the Account Management Team, Engineers, Management, and Purchasing.

Your preferred qualifications

 

- University degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Accounting and/or Engineering required.
- Understanding of Accounting concepts & process is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required (English - spoken and written).
- Experience in a related field, working in a manufacturing environment an asset.
- Self-motivated and able to carry projects through to completion, with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to consistently meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Travel may be required – must have valid passport with ability to travel to U.S..
- Proven computer skills (Windows – Word and Advanced Excel including pivot tables).
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
