Role Summary

The Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing plant operations data (such as scrap, labor, performance, etc.), running various calculations to determine how the data might be applied to meet the needs of our business, and daily reporting to plant management. This person will provide key support for the successful operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role requires superior computer skills, knowledge. Must have very strong Excel skills
  • Strong problem solving, analysis and math skills is required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems and financial management reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members in all functional departments to collect and categorize requirements to develop Templates for business KPIs and reporting.
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
  • Provide research and feedback on software and databases to assist in data collection and analysis.
  • Data mining using state-of-the-art methods.
  • Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance.
  • Present information using data visualization techniques.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Accounting/Finance, Information Management, natural sciences, Business Analytics, Mathematics. 
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent software skills including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, AS400, Power BI
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst such as Data Maintenance, Database Security, Promoting Process   Improvement, System Administration
