Role Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for design, development and testing of electrical hardware based on the electrical architecture and the electrical requirements within a project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience (Master’s preferred)
  • 6-8 years’ relevant experience regarding the responsibility / activities in serial development. Automotive electronic (mandatory).
  • Knowledge in electrical hardware design, development and testing for automotive electronics following automotive standards.
  • Knowledge in automated PCB(A) assembly and test methods and their impact on PCB design.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of analog, digital, power, memory, integrated circuits, microcontroller, LED drivers, AUTOSAR and communication protocol (LIN, CAN, CANFd, SPI, I2C, etc.) hardware design and implementation techniques.
  • Knowledge of electrical test standards and test equipment.
  • Experience with customer interface for all electrical related activities.
  • Experience in developing and implementing safety critical electrical hardware, fault tolerance design including familiarity with ASIL safety standards.
  • Experience with EMC design rules and international test standards.
  • Working knowledge in structured engineering approach.
  • Working knowledge in development of reusable electrical hardware in automotive environment

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Development of core and/or application specific electrical requirements for transportation and mobility electronics.
  • Develop electrical hardware in compliance with Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP).
  • Verify electrical requirements at component and bench level testing.
  • Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to electrical hardware.
  • Perform work assignments as a highly competent electrical engineer, requiring independent design, implementation and testing of the electrical hardware.
