Group Summary

Materials Analyst

Under the direction of the Assistant Materials Manager, manages daily the assigned supplier deck including maintaining record integrity, ship to schedule performance, logistics routing and tracking, packaging, and issue root cause and resolution.

Your Responsibilities

  • Executes daily cycle count activity to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintains all production BOM’s and supplier scheduling parameters in SAP.
  • Analyzes customer schedule for mix/volume fluctuation and communicates results to the team.
  • Ensures delivery of supplied parts on-time in the right quantity and approved packaging.
  • Creates shipping schedules for logistic carriers.
  • Serves as the primary contact responsible for managing supplier delivery issues twenty-four (24) hours per day.
  • Meets the department’s monthly targets for inventory, freight, etc. as defined.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of materials experience in a tier-one automotive manufacturing facility.

  • Excellent problem resolution skills
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MRP
