Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

 

About the Role

Assists in directing financial activities of the organization by coordinating, consolidating, and analyzing financial plans and projections and providing information to management under minimal direction.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Provides support to Controller and prepares financial reports
  • Ensures timely and accurate monthly financial reports and performs regular analysis of book and ledgers to ensure accuracy
  • Participates in capital process to ensure proper evaluation and presentation of capital needs and compliance with approved budget
  • Prepares audit schedules and reports, oversees end-of-year change over, maintains program analysis and fixed assets
  • Responsible for monthly closing of financial books and prepares weekly, quarterly and annual forecasts
  • Responsible for assisting with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts, through training process owners, providing assistance with documentation, performing reviews, and completing testing as necessary.

Who we are looking for

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills in order to prepare reports and communicate with management 
  • Possesses strong organizational and project management skills in order to provide necessary resources
  • Advanced use of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on advanced Excel skills
  • Good leadership skills with ability to clearly communicate a vision, educate individuals and teams, and influence decisions

 

Your preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
  • At least 5 years progressive experience in accounting and finance preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience with Baan, Hyperion and crystal reports is recommended.
