HIRING ALL SHIFTS - Operator / Production Associate / Assembler 1

Role Summary

As a member of a cross-functional team, performs semi-skilled production machine operations to assemble/fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team goals.  May perform work manually and/or by machine operation which requires in-depth knowledge of process and constant monitoring. Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem solving activities.  Makes machine adjustments and typically manages several variables within the process.  Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned area.  Maintains material movement systems and completes proper paperwork and documentation to guide operations of the team.  

Plastic Injection Molding and Bonding:

The duties listed below will be performed at different degrees dependent upon the assigned team.  Responsibilities include machine operation, assembly, trimming, material handling and inspection.     

Performs semi-skilled production work to assemble or fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team production goals.  May perform work manually and/or by machine operation which requires in-depth knowledge of process and constant monitoring.  Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem solving activities.  Makes machine adjustments and typically manages several variables within the process.  Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned area.  Efficiently performs basic preventative maintenance and minor machine setups.    Maintains material movement systems and completes proper paperwork and documentation to guide operations of the team.  Performs other duties as necessary in support of team objectives.   Performs all work in compliance with Magna and Magna Engineered  Glass Systems Health, Safety and   Environmental policies and procedures as well as all federal, State and local laws; promptly report any hazardous condition or workplace injury to immediate supervisor or EHS designate.
