Role Summary

Serve as a primary Contact for assign Customers.  Customer communication will be done via phone, email, customer specific portal, and face to face visit. Providing and communication technical documentation such as 8D, drawings, engineering documents.  Locally and remotely manage containment activities.  Actively being the voice of the customer at the plant and support new customer launch with the Advance Quality Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as main Contact to the Assign Customers
    • Customer Visits as Needed
    • Access and Update Customer Quality Portals.
    • Manage Containment (Cost, Timing and Data)
  • Facilitate Problem Solving Activities with Customer and Internal Plant
  • Participate in Product and Process Design Reviews
  • Support New Product Launches (with Advance Quality Team)
  • Any other duties identified by leadership.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering field or CQE Certificate with understanding of advanced quality engineering practices, principles, processes, etc.; or equivalent.  Three years previous experience in automotive industry.
  2. Customer focus individual with experience North American and oversee customers (Tier 1 and OEMs).  Multilingual (Spanish, German, Japanese or Mandarin) is a plus.
  3. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, coordinate, integrate internal data, and clearly articulate concepts, ideas, and other issues relating to advanced quality engineering.  Working knowledge of problems solving tools as Shainin Red X, Kepno Trego, DOE, and use of Mini Tab a plus.
  4. Demonstrated creativity and ingenuity to work on moderate to long-term assignments which are broad in nature.  Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills to prioritize, coordinate projects, manage conflicting needs, and deal with many issues at one time.  Must be able to work independently.
  5. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts and represent the Company in a professional manner when performing job duties.  Must have excellent interpersonal skills to exercise influence at various levels and functions.
