Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the well-operated transportation system in the external supply chain in order to guarantee timely and reliable shipments.
  • Transport execution with ideal use of trucks and optimal costs (type of transport, routing instructions, delivery time windows, truck optimization, optimal delivery frequency).
  • Handle the requests for all types of transportations, verification of the data in the requests in order to choose the most efficient way of transportation.
  • Issue the requests to the service providers and control its completeness.
  • Control and coordinate the suppliers, transport service providers and other parties involved in the transportation process.
  • Ensure an early warning process in case of any deviations and emergency cases, and initiate back-up solutions if needed.
  • Ordering and tracking premium freight / special shipments.
  • Service Provider Claim management.
  • Service Provider Rating.
  • Ensure that the site’s import and export processes are in line with applicable laws, tax regulations and required procedures (f.i. Intrastat,…).
  • Preparation of necessary documentation for customs clearing process in close cooperation with customs broker, review documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Tariff classifications of the goods.
  • Calculation and arrangement for payment of taxes and duties.
  • Assist the customs authority in all issues connected with customs declaration of goods.
  • Preparation of required statistics and reports.
  • Administer the document flow and ensure timely provision.
  • Request long term-declarations according to legal base from supplier, complete / organize the database, calculate the finished goods / trading goods and create the long term-declaration for the customer.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Secondary school with final exams / University education.
  • Work experience minimum of 3 years in the similar position.
  • English language on communication level.
  • PC skills: MS Office.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Efficient working style and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility, responsibility.
