The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • To review design, specification and implementation of new process, from product development to the production stages, in accordance with production targets in terms of quality, cost and delivery,
  • To manage serial changes of projects/lines acc. To change management methodology,
  • To study the possibility of improving production and quality in current processes,
  • To assure the quality of initial samples,
  • To provide feedback for project engineers relating to their designs for project development,
  • To develop and update process documentation (PFMEA, production diagrams, layouts),
  • To cooperate in analyzing production and production control, conducting tests and taking limit samples,
  • Define necessary technological investment requirements of product engineering department to meet customer needs. Construct plans to achieve this goal.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering from reputable universities,
  • At least 2 years’ experience in plastic injection industry and plastic moldings in automotive industry,
  • Knowledge of plastic injection technology and failure modes and determine actions,
  • Good command of verbal and written English,
  • Knowledge of production organization tools is a preference (5S, SMED etc.),
  • Strong machine-equipment and technical knowledge,
  • Having a valid driving license and active driver.
