What can you expect


The position leads the Magna Powertrain PlanviewOne IT Business System end to end from a technical perspective on global level. As Business Systems Service Owner the role has the overall responsibility to steer the technical demands, supports the business demands and ensures a proper service related to the Business System.


  • Plan, analyze, estimate and implement user stories and be the point of contact to the software vendor (Planview) and other partners to support the PlanviewOne Business System
  • Support and administrate PlanviewOne System Architecture and continuously improve usability, functionality and performance also with the connected Business Systems
  • Analyze business requirements regarding customizing and reporting and be committed to execute and monitor development within agreed time and resource
  • Identify risks involved with the development of PlanviewOne and provide solutions to resolve complex problems, from a technical perspective
  • Ensure that all levels of the support organization are operating and continuously improving in alignment with the Magna Policies and industry standards like ITIL and COBIT
  • Support the Project team and stakeholders with technical know-how in accordance with the project scope and goals


What you bring along


  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or the equivalent in experience
  • Experience in organizational projects or know-how in organizational / change management is highly welcomed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in global teamwork and different cultures
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Experience in data handling like SQL & Co are welcome

In addition to all the benefits mentioned, it is important to us to offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least € 3.680,73 (14 x p.a.) for this position. The actual salary will then be determined depending on your education and qualifications as well as your relevant work experience.
