What you can expect

At our site in Lannach near Graz, we are developing the next generation of electric drive systems for electric and hybrid vehicles. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you are responsible for developing and strengthening the site organizationally regarding cyber security issues. In addition, during the concept and series development phase, you will work on those specific work packages that are required regarding cyber security management. Among other things, the following tasks will be your area of responsibility:

 

  • Support the engineering organization with implementation and establishment of cyber security processes
  • Create project-specific cyber security plans and tracking of all necessary cyber security activities 
  • Alignment of cyber security activities with customers and suppliers as well as coordination of an interdisciplinary development team
  • Development of security requirements according to ISO 21434 and support for cyber security analyzes (e.g. TARA, vulnerability analysis, attack trees, etc.)
  • Issuing cyber security approvals for the developed systems
  • Support of the serial production team, purchasing and quality during production-, operation- and maintenance planning regarding cyber security 
  • Participation or organization of internal/external cyber security assessments and audits 

 

What you bring along
 

  • Bachelor/Master of Science Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Relevant professional experience as an Cyber Security Manager in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of ISO 21434 as well as ideally also ISO 26262, ISO 15504 (SPICE) and analytical techniques (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, TARA,…)
  • Knowledge of cryptographic methods and their application in products would be a great advantageous
  • Highly structured way of working and an analytical mindset
  • Communicative personality with experience in dealing with distributed teams, suppliers and internal and external customers
  • Good knowledge of German (min. B1 Level) and very good English

In addition, commitment and qualification are valued by us: we pay more than we have to. For this position you get a salary starting from € 60.000 gross per year (basis: 38.5 hours per week). Overpayment is possible according to your experience and educational background. In addition, if you are not living in the country you are applying for, we offer you a relocation allowance, support with your visa, work permit, accommodation, language courses, and a dedicated buddy program.
